Free or paid ATS? Choosing a plan for a small business

Do not choose a plan based on how large your company might be next year. Start with how many roles you hire for at the same time and who actually needs access to the process.
A free ATS may be enough for occasional hiring. A paid plan makes sense when the current limits no longer cover the number of jobs or people involved.
Plan limits
For a small business, these three self-service plans are often the most useful to compare first:
- Free: 1 active job and up to 2 users; EUR 0.
- Starter: up to 3 active jobs and 5 users; EUR 39 per month or EUR 390 per year, excluding VAT.
- Growth: up to 10 active jobs and 15 users; EUR 79 per month or EUR 790 per year, excluding VAT.
Paid plans include a 14-day trial. The invoice is sent by email after the trial. Check the pricing page for current terms.
Three small-business scenarios
One role and two people involved. If you hire occasionally and the owner and one teammate share the process, the Free limit may be enough. It is a simple way to test whether keeping one pipeline in one place works for your team.
Several roles and up to five users. If you have up to three active jobs and several people need to see statuses or add information, compare Starter’s limits. Count only the people who will use recruiting workflows, not everyone in the company.
Recurring hiring across teams. If you regularly have four to ten active jobs and need access for a larger group, check whether Growth covers your current scope. Confirm that the plan also includes the features your team actually needs.
These are examples based on plan limits, not a recommendation for every company. See the GoJobee pricing page for the full feature and terms comparison.
How to decide
Write down three numbers before choosing:
- How many jobs will be active at the same time?
- How many people need access to the process?
- Which features are essential from day one?
Choose the lowest plan that fits those needs. If you are within the Free limits, there is no reason to pay for unused capacity. If you keep approaching a limit, compare the next plan and its full terms before switching.
If you want to begin with one job, see GoJobee Free ATS. If you need more jobs or users, compare plans.
Frequently asked questions
Is Free enough for a small business?
It may be, if you have one active job and no more than two users. What matters is whether those limits fit the way you hire today.
Should I choose Growth right away?
Only if the number of active jobs, users, or required features justifies it. Do not choose it only for hypothetical future growth.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
An invoice for a paid plan is sent by email. Check the current payment and plan-change terms on the pricing page before starting.
