Scorecard Templates
Create evaluation templates to assess candidates consistently and objectively.
Scorecards help you evaluate candidates systematically by defining specific criteria and rating scales. This ensures all interviewers assess candidates using the same standards, reducing bias and improving hiring decisions.
Go to Settings
Open the Scorecards tab
Click on the 'Scorecards' tab to manage your evaluation templates.
View existing scorecards
If you have created scorecards before, they will appear in a list. Otherwise, you'll see a message indicating no scorecard templates created yet.
Create a new scorecard
Click the yellow 'Create Template' button in the top right corner to start building a new scorecard template.
Name your scorecard
Give your scorecard a descriptive name, such as 'Technical Interview - Developer' or 'Culture Fit Assessment'.
Add evaluation criteria
Add specific criteria to evaluate, such as 'Technical Skills', 'Problem Solving', 'Communication', 'Team Fit', etc. Each criterion can have its own rating scale.
Keep criteria specific and measurable. Instead of 'Good attitude', use 'Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning new technologies'.
Define rating scales
For each criterion, define a rating scale (e.g., 1-5 or 1-10) and optionally add descriptions for each rating level to ensure consistency across interviewers.
Save your scorecard
Click 'Save' to store your scorecard template. You can now use this scorecard when scheduling interviews or reviewing candidates.
Using scorecards improves the quality and consistency of your hiring decisions. They also provide documentation that can be valuable for compliance and future reference.
